New Rules Issued Implementing Health Care Law, Banning Discrimination Against People with Pre-Existing Conditions

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is publishing a proposed rule to implement several key provisions of the Affordable Care Act to prevent insurance companies from discriminating against people with pre-existing conditions. The health care law will also make it easier for consumers to compare health plans and for employers to promote and encourage employee wellness.
